BlackBerry KEYone: Specifications, features, price and everything you need to know

Canadian-based multinational wireless telecommunications software firm BlackBerry on Saturday unveiled its new phone under the name KEYone.
The phone marks the return for BlackBerry into the competitive smartphone market. Once again. The KEYone, earlier known with its codename called Mercury comes with a physical keyboard, which made BlackBerry a household name around a decade ago. But unlike the old BlackBerry phones, the new one comes with a large screen.

Asus ZenFone 3S Max set for India launch, live stream scheduled to begin at 12 pm

Asus India has joined the intense race of other major phone makers to launch a new smartphone in the country on Tuesday. Asus is set to launch Asus ZenFone 3S Max (ZC521TL) on Tuesday, with a live stream scheduled to begin at 12pm IST.
For now, the India price and availability details of the smartphone haven't been revealed by the phone major though we know it's set to be available via both offline and online retail channels.

South Africa thrash Sri Lanka by seven wickets in third one-day international, clinch series

South Africa crushed Sri Lanka by seven wickets to win the third one-day international at the Wanderers on Saturday in a match held up for an hour after bees swarmed onto the famous arena.
The hosts also took a winning 3-0 lead in the five-match series after bowling out Sri Lanka for 163 before South Africa captain AB de Villiers starred with an undefeated 60.

Google topples Apple as world's most valuable brand, Tata Group out of Top 100

The world's most valuable brand list is out and once again the leading tech giants of the world have bagged the top two positions. 
US tech major Google tops the list as the most valuable brand followed by arch-rival Apple. Google's brand value surged to $109 billion from $88 billion last year. Meanwhile Apple's lost out of its Numero Uno position to Google. Its brand value fell to $107 billion this year from $145.9 billion in 2016.

Deeper Modi-Trump engagement can handle visa crisis: Nasscom chairman C P Gurnani

Rattled by the proposed changes in its biggest market US, the USD 150-billion domestic IT industry lobby Nasscom is resting its hopes on a deeper engagement between the "pragmatic" heads of US and India to help it overcome its current troubles.
"The US' commitment to India is very apparent. I strongly believe that this would require an engagement between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Donald Trump and as and when they are able to engage with each other," Nasscom chairman C P Gurnani told PTI recently.

Assembly polls: Urge people of Punjab and Goa to vote for honest politics, Arvind Kejriwal tweets in Gurmukhi

AAP supremo and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal appeared bullish about his party prospects in Goa and Punjab, where polling is underway, adding that the states will create history on Saturday even as he urged people to vote for honest politics.
“Goa and Punjab will create history today,” he said in a tweet.“All people must go out and vote. Also take along people from your ‘pind’ (village) for voting. And vote for honest politics,” he said in another tweet.

Vodafone registers 4.7 per cent decline in revenue due to Jio uprise and note ban

British telecom major Vodafone registered 4.7 per cent decline in its India revenue at Rs 10,556 crore in local currency terms during October-December 2016 period, due to increase in competition from entry of Reliance Jio and partially on account of demonetisation.
The company had reported a revenue of Rs 11,077.63 crore in the same period a year ago.
However, the reported decline in terms of euro for the period was 5.5 per cent at 1,452 million euros compared to 1,536 million euros during the period under review.

Facebook's Oculus ordered pay USD500 mn in suit on stolen tech

A US jury has ordered Facebook and creators of its Oculus Rift to pay USD 500 million to gaming software firm ZeniMax in a lawsuit that claimed the virtual reality technology was stolen. 
The Texas jury made the award yesterday in a trial in which Oculus was accused of basing its Rift headset on technology stolen from ZeniMax's virtual reality software, court documents showed.
The lawsuit claimed Oculus founder Palmer Luckey and his colleagues developed the virtual reality gear using source code illegally obtained from the gaming firm.
